S. Anil Kumar is the driving force behind Smart Home Concepts, bringing over 32 years of professional experience in IT and entrepreneurship to the table. An Electrical Engineer from UVCE, Bangalore University, with an MBA from Sikkim Manipal University, Anil's career is marked by his significant contributions to the field of home automation, home theater, and home security.

Before founding Smart Home Concepts, Anil served as the Head of Business Excellence at Infineon Technologies, Bangalore. He has also held senior management positions at global giants like Siemens, Philips, and Thomson Multimedia. An ISO 9001 Auditor and Six Sigma Green Belt, Anil has successfully led organizations through ISO 9001 certifications and SEI CMMI Level 3 assessments.

Anil's pioneering work in product development includes creating LCD TVs, a range of DVD products, and set-top boxes, including the Tata Sky Set Top Box. He made history as the first Indian Global Software Manager at Philips Software, Bangalore, leading a team of 300 engineers.

Committed to giving back to the community, Anil has been dedicated to serving physically challenged and visually impaired students at various NGOs, including Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled and Mitra Jyothi, for the past 15 years. He also actively mentors engineering students.

Anil is married to Dr. Anju Kumar, a professor at a business school in Bengaluru. Their son, Vishal Kumar, works as a Senior Product Manager for Microsoft in Seattle, USA, and is married to Siri Mrudula, a Computer Science graduate from Hyderabad.
